Captured in Africa on a night drive this huge Lion was sitting close to the trail. We drove as close as possible then he stood and walked closer. Reaching over the side of the truck with on camera flash and a ballpark manual focus I was able to catch him just right.

Perfect Night, perfect light on this icon of the world.
