This photograph is of Tiran Island off the coast of Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. It was late afternoon when i took this photograph and the sun was casting beautifully over the island. The Red Sea had beautiful shades of blue which are captured within the photograph.

I thought the contrasting blue against the white brought out the seagull from the background.

This black macaque looked a little grumpy!

This orangutan was a little camera shy (it kept hiding under a bag). I did manage to catch this though

Lovely patterns on the animal really make the picture.

This 'cheeky chappy' couldn't resist posing for the camera.

I believe this is a baby black macaque that is getting used to living with its pals at the zoo.
