This photo was taken when the ongoing large photo community birthday event in our city in Garut , West Java , Indonesia . I got a chance photographing this beautiful model on the sidelines of the ongoing event .Time
The ongoing shooting time , around 14.00 . And I continue to target this model for photograph . Because this model is one of my favorites that time. And taking his photo was not much , because it was the photographers crammed for taking photographs of this model .And I was just having a little photo of him , but very excited that has been getting a good photo in my opinion .Lighting
About lighting ? I always put the available light . When photographing these models , the light from the side and pose the models , it is advantageous that I was standing right beside him , and thus there is light that I get on this photo .Equipment
Equipment that I use when photographing these models is Nikon D90 camera , using a 100mm F2.8 lens Tokina . That's all , does not include other added .Inspiration
Which inspired me when took this photo while it is traditional wardrobe with texture character building antiquity , I think it would be wonderful if the character and try on for black and white photographs that could create an impression of ancient beauty has never faded until today .Editing
I do post-processing on this photo . I use jpeg files with color photographs . Then I edited in Photoshop CS3 , by improving first in the curves layer , then a crop , then I process the end result in the plugin using silver Efex Pro .In my camera bag
Equipment that is always there in my bag when photographing namely , body Nikon D90 which I love, this is the body that has always been a friend of my life photographing . Then Tokina 100mm F2.8 lens , it is still fairly new I have, because I love the character of the Tokina that seem sharp , heavy in my stable handheld so that it can hold , then the colors of the images are brownish made ??me interested in this lens . Then the second body is panasonic lumix GF1 . I bought a new mirrorless , and even this is still phase study until now . Mirrorless lens that I use is the M Zuiko 17mm F2.8 . And the same is still studying the character of this lens . Only that which has always been my friends photographing .Feedback
Advice from me , when photographing models in the crowd with friends of other photographers who are trying to be patient and always consider the location of the light ( if not using the flash ) and then as soon as possible to understand the functions of your camera when shooting position pressed in the crowd. Try to find the character of a model by looking at the movements of the model when the pose and expression that really we like.So , if like post-processing ( especially black and white photographs ) may only need to learn the character of the photograph itself , would be directed as to what will be. And the bottom line can give a little story in black and white photos . It would be nice black and white photographs can be more dramatic and more nuanced story than the content of the photo . It may hint from me that until today , I kept on doing the learning . Hopefully pleased .
