Location
I took this photo at my home in Sofia, Bulgaria.Time
It was around 4 p.m. in a good sunny afternoon.Lighting
There wasn't so much light coming from the window, but I didn't need it. I tried to make the background as dark as I could, so the photo seemed more dramatic.Equipment
I took the photo with a compact camera Konica Minolta Dimage E500; 5.4 - 16.2 mm lens. I didn't use other equipment.Inspiration
I was watching my sister making some patterns for a dress that she wanted to sew. Then I saw this sheet of paper with all these pins and I thought that it could be great to take some shots, just to see how it would look like from another angle. That was enough to realize that the photo was pretty nice.Editing
I didn't do a lot of changes in post-processing. I adjusted the contrast and some of the colours, just to make it a bit darker. I also corrected the white balance. In my camera bag
I usually carry my compact camera wherever I go, because I'm an amateur photographer and I still don't have a DSLR Camera.Feedback
I don't have advices for someone who wants to capture photos similar to mine. The only advice I can give is to carry your camera with you every day and when you see something interesting, imagine how it will look like in a photo and then take a shot.
