Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken in Fort Erie, ON just past the Peace Bridge. There is a large grouping of trees with a walking path that winds between the the trees.Time
The was taken on an early morning shoot at 7:55AM 03/17/2012.Lighting
The morning was very foggy so a slow shutter speed was necessary, this required a tripod to steady the camera.Equipment
I used a Canon T1i with the 18-55mm kit lens, the settings were as follows, shutter - 1/80, Aperture - f/6.3 with +3 exposure compensation ISO - 200Inspiration
I saw the bare leafless tree bracket by the two evergreens. A nice frame in a frame kind of shot. I tried to line up the path to pull the viewers eye into the picture.Editing
I tried to increase the sharpness as much as the fog would allow me to do.In my camera bag
I have since upgraded my gear to a Canon 6D with the 24-105, f/4 lens, I have acquired the following lenses: Canon 70-200mm f/4, Tamron 90 f/2.8 macro, Sigma 12-24 f/4.Feedback
The only I can say is when driving through such dense fog, please be careful.
