Thank you! That was in Kaikoura on the south island of New Zealand. The sperm whales were only a few dozen metres away from the boat, it was simply amazing to watch!

It was! One of the most amazing things I had ever seen! I was almost too close for my 55-200mm zoom lens, I had to take a step back to get the fluke into the frame, that's how close and big this beautiful animal was! We saw 3 of those dives on our whale tour and it was equally stunning each time they did it, I would do it again if I get the chance to it
