Before taking photos we went swimming with those dolphins and it was a unique and beautiful experience. It was so amazing swimming in this water, knowing there was nothing under you for 700m and seeing those wild dolphins come and start playing with you. After that we were allowed to take photos standing on the top roof of the boat and I just looked back and saw those two dolphins.Editing
I added a bit of contrast and boosted the colors to remove the haze in the background. A UV filter would have been a good idea...In my camera bag
My camera with my 18-55mm and my 55-100mm lens, a tripod, a wireless and a wired remote, a white balance lens cap, my macro tubes, a couple of filters (ND, polarizer, UV) and for a few months now a 100mm macro lens and a 35-200mm travel lens.Feedback
Just keep snapping! That day I made around 600 photos just in 2 hours time. I kept 5 of them... The problem with dolphins is that they don't tend to stay in the air for very long and when they jump out you never know exactly where. So a lot of the times you are too fast, too slow, too much too the left, the right or the focus is off. But that one time you can make the perfect shot.
