This beautiful Beaux Arts style building is a true icon in Chicago. Built to house art originally, it is the only surviving building from the 1893 Worlds Fair, in the Hyde Park neighborhood on Chicago's south side. It was designed by renowned architect Daniel Burnham. Today it is a world class science and space museum. Minus a few lights on the roof, my photo looks just as it did 120 years ago. There are a few modern additions to the museum, but I made sure they weren't in this shot.
