Location
Peyto Lake in Alberta, Canada. This is about 30 minutes from Lake Louise.Time
Early afternoon, we had camped at the Columbia Icefield Campground and stopped off at all the beautiful lakes on our way to Lake Louise and then we stopped here.Lighting
The afternoon light and the cloud cover really showed the amazing turquoise colour of Peyto lake.Equipment
This was shot on my Canon 7D, with a sigma 10-20mm lens.Inspiration
After the amazing lakes we had seen the colour of this lake is just unbelievable, I took several angles of the lake from the trail but this was my favourite angle as it also looks like it could be the head of a wolf as well.Editing
I didn't have to do much post-processing for this at all, the beauty and colour of this lake did it for me.In my camera bag
I love using my wide angle, I have always loved Panoramic photography and my Sigma 10-20mm does it all me.Feedback
We did a small hike to get this shot but we tried different angles from the hike. Even if I am happy with me first shot I always keep hiking and exploring until I am completely satisfied that I have got the shot.
