I know how hard this is to do from a lighting and timing standpoint... Congratulations! Wonderful work!

Location
This photo was taken in my own backyard.Time
9:00 p.m.Lighting
I used the Profoto Acute 2R 2400 Pack for lighting plus I used 3 standard shop lights for back lighting.Equipment
Nikon D800, Profoto Acute 2R 2400,Inspiration
I love action shots and I love backlit photos of action so as I sat in my pool one night I noticed how steamy it became as a result of cold weather in contrast to the warm pool then as we swam my motion sensor flood lights came on and from my vantage point in the pool I decided it would make a killer photo so I got some shop lights, some really fast strobes and a couple hard bound books to prop my D800 up to this vantage point from the side of my pool.Editing
Post process was done in Lightroom 5 plus a little pop of color from Nik Colorfx. In my camera bag
Nikon D800, Nikon Sb700, aa batteries, chapstick, granola bar, sick tunes, bottled water, lens cleaner, duck tape.Feedback
As most photographers already know, noticing your surroundings and capitalizing on what you have around you.
