Heading out on the Emmons Moraine Trail at Mt. Rainier we thought this will be great for the "kids." However, we soon discovered that it wasn't what we expected. The trail becomes pretty nerve wracking at one point. To proceed you have to walk this scant trail that is crumbling away into the river bed below. A job that is only more daunting when kids are involved. Luckily neither my husband nor my kids were concerned just me being a mom.
