A very well taken image and B&W works very well, simple clear detail and nicely framed.

Location
No the photo was taken at my friend's wedding in a small church in southern Alberta. It was my first wedding back in 2007Time
I believe this was taken around noon.Lighting
We were in the church waiting to go outside for the ceremony. All the lights were off and we weren't sure if we were allowed to turn them on. So we left them off and used the windows for lighting.Equipment
Just my old Nikon d40 and a 35mm. Nothing fancy to take this photo.Inspiration
The bride was getting anxious while we waited for the go ahead to head outside. I decided to calm her down by taking some casual just her photos. It really helped calm her down and we go so many gorgeous photos because of this.Editing
I turned it to black and white in Photoshop, and then applied a mask and brushed back in the colour from the bow.In my camera bag
Currently my go to's are my Nikon D3600 and a 80-200mm wide angle lens. I also always have a reflector disk and a small speedlight for fill lighting just in case. A tripod, because when I never have it I need it. Lastly for weddings I bring a step stool because I am short.Feedback
It was a sunny day and this was a south facing window around noon. So the natural lighting was just amazing. The sheer curtain acted like a softbox, solid recreating I recommend using that as well. It also gives the subject something to do with their hands.
