Location
This photo was taken in Gadsden near the Jim Martin Bird Sanctuary overlooking Lake Gadsden.Time
I was driving home one evening at sunset and saw this as a potential "good capture prospect". I actually caught another shot that proved to be equally satisfying of a few ducks sitting and taking in the view too!. I felt a sense of joy with this awesome presence before me as well as being in the moment. It was a relaxing element that I noticed and one that I crave for.Lighting
The natural lighting was so golden orange that the lake almost appeared to be on fire!Equipment
This shot was a quick handheld shot due to the fast setting sun. I used Camera: FinePix A900, Aperture: f/3.0, ISO: 100, Shutter Speed: 10/3400Inspiration
God always inspires my mother nature captures and I truly feel so honored to be viewing such beauty. I can't imagine being blind and what I would miss!Editing
None.In my camera bag
I usually carry lens cleaner cloth, a few other small cameras.Feedback
My advise is to always be ready to take a chance and be prepared. Always be open minded and creative, reaching inside yourself for what you want to achieve in a photo. Just keeping your eyes open for potential at all times. You will be surprised many times over that the target prospect may be even better than you originally thought. It take a special love for this hobby and is so rewarding. I feel bad when I can't get a shot because of some other aspect being in my way. You win some and you lose some. I prefer to win!
