Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken at my homecoming game 2014-2015 at Dwight D Eisenhower High School. It was taken during the half time show where they show fireworks.

Time

This was actually the first time I have ever taken a picture of fireworks. It was around 8 pm on a freezing cold night in October. It actually rained on us that day, which made the weather worse.

Lighting

The lighting was great, the lighting in any football field is amazing & the fireworks just made it all better.

Equipment

Surprisingly I didn't not use a professional camera to capture this photo. I use an iPhone 5S.

Inspiration

The inspiration to this photo was the beauty of the fireworks its self. It's actually quite rare for myself to see fireworks in a cold October night when I originally recognized them in the summer. I had to capture the moment that wouldn't last forever. Not only was that inspiring but also, it was one of my second to last homecoming games, why not remember this moment the right way with a photo.

Editing

I did not have any post processing.

In my camera bag

I do not have any equipment but I do borrow cameras from school a lot.

Feedback

My advice to many is the capture something that just takes your breathe away. I believe something that has a back story is better than a picture with no meaning. Personally that's what most great photos are about.
