I was on a walk through my neighborhood, when I spotted this dog watching me through his fence. He wasn't barking, just looking at me sadly through the fence. I loved his expression and was lucky enough to have my camera with me that day.Time

I was on a photo walk through my neighborhood on a nice sunny day, heading to a local park. The neighbor dog was watching with such longing through his fence. I loved his expression and was lucky enough that he held his pose long enough for me to get a good shot. I loved his eyes and his coloring.Editing
I enhanced the colors and textures using Topaz Adjust and Photoshop. In my camera bag
I shoot Pentax. I love Lensbaby Lenses and usually have a Sweet 35 with me. For walkaround shots, I might use my Tamron 18-250, Sigma 10-20, Sigma 15mm Fisheye. Pentax 10-17 Fisheye. I have one IR converted camera, a Pentax K-r, that is fun for bright summer days.Feedback
I try to carry my camera with me all the time so that I won't miss these beautiful random moments. Shooting dogs or cat portraits is a little bit luck and a lot of patience. It's good to set the shutter speed faster, get low to the ground so you're on their eye level and snap away.
