Location
Beach north of Half Moon Bay, California.Time
NoonLighting
Very strong sun light, and I wanted to use a relative long exposure to capture an impression of the waves, beach, & bluff that looked more like a painting.Equipment
So small aperture (f22), low iso (100) and shutter speed 1/8. Using my Tamron 24-70mm lens + moving my camera during exposure.Inspiration
The scene was very nice, but not very original to take a picture from a beach on a sunny day. I wanted to capture an impression of the waves, beach, & bluff that looked more like a painting.Editing
Lighting adjusted in lightroom. In my camera bag
Canon 6D; Tamron 24-70mm; Tamron 70-300mm; Samyang 14mm; Canon 50mmFeedback
Use your imagination to create an interesting picture from an ordinary place with suboptimal light. Technique is important to get it done, but being creative is most important
