Behind The Lens

Location

Ambositra, Madagascar

Time

Lunch time

Lighting

Walking through the market street of Ambositra under the strong sun light I noticed a guy having his hair cut at the local barber shop.

Equipment

Small camera suitable for street photography: Canon G7X.

Inspiration

I was on a mission to take pictures of "faces of Madagascar", friendly people with a wide range of ethnic backgrounds.

Editing

Silver Effects Pro 2 to convert to black & white

In my camera bag

Canon 6D with 14mm Samyang; 24- 70 mm Tamron; 70-300 mm Tamron & Canon G7X

Feedback

For street photography use a small high quality camera, it will attract less attention, although in the case of this picture it was a plus that the guy noticed my presence, but that is an exception. Be discrete, look around and look for the special shot.
