This American Alligator (Alligator Mississippiensis) was getting some sun on cool fall day at Brazos Bend State Park, Texas, USA. He was in super bright light (with heavy shadow over the eye from the pier) so I took a 5 shot bracketed image at -3--2--1-0-+1 and created an HDR image. A huge departure from my typical shooting and editing and I let myself get a little carried away for a change. Was really close to him so took of the teleconverter so I could get the smallest aperture.
