Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was shot at home. It is the oak tree closest to the back door.

Time

It was mid-morning while I was getting ready for a morning ride. Good lighting if I do say so myself.

Lighting

It was just the perfect time of day.

Equipment

Not gonna lie. This is a phone camera. But what a shot!

Inspiration

Cats are hard to photograph because they do not stay still for very long. But I was able to pull off this shot seamlessly and I didn't even have to take multiples.

Editing

No. The photo itself didn't need any.

In my camera bag

Extra memory cards after a big mess up I had at a ranch rodeo where I was shooting and the photos were not saving because there was no more room on the card.

Feedback

Always be ready. Whether it is your regular camera or a camera on your phone. Animals are hard to shoot, but so worth it.
