Behind The Lens

Location

Arriving here and seeing the place was awesome, it was raining but the sky was still quite light. I remember wondering how do I catch this view. I didn't want to get wet so I took a quick shot. My best shots are taken quickly, without much thinking and planning.

Time

We had driven a hundred or so kilometers and there was so much to see. This was probably around noon and we had to move on. It's always raining here, so I heard. Everything looks so lush green and the ocean is grey.

Lighting

This was taken with my old pocket camera, auto mode. I was busy and my companion didn't much have patient.

Equipment

Hand held pocket camera, Samsung.

Inspiration

Never been here before and am always searching new views. I liked this view, mountains, water and clouds, even the rain.

In my camera bag

I have my camera, whatever it is. I used to have Samsung pocket camera, it was great when traveling. Compact and light. Now I would use Sony Cyber-shot.

Feedback

Don't be afraid of bad weather.
