Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness, Utah.
Buckskin Gulch is reportedly the longest and deepest slot canyon in the world. I hiked several miles into the Gulch on this trip from Wire Pass and captured this self portrait. Outside and above the protective walls of this canyon was very windy on this day. I had a hard time keeping my camera and lens clear of the blowing sand, which was falling from above.

Great shot! I was there under similar conditions of sand blowing in from above. Some of the best shots can be straight up, but you kinda hate to do that to your camera.
