On the outskirts of Borrego Springs California, there are life-sized steel sculptures created by artist Ricardo Breceda and commissioned by Dennis Avery. This dragon is approximately 15' high and stretches across a roadway to about 350' long. I captured this scene approximately 1-2 hour after a full Moon rise and after the Sun had set, giving the background a nice pastel-type hue. Nikon D5000, 28-300mm Nikkor lens, B+W Polarizer and tripod.

This is one of those moments you drive out and have your friends blinfolded. Only to be removed when standing in front and hope everyone packed enough underware.

Unbelievable cool shot here Milo. A friend of mine showed me some shots he took with a pocket camera. This is a mind blower. Very well done.
