Location
This is photo is of central pier Blackpool taken from the promenade.Time
It was taken just after sunset which was around 9pm.Lighting
The lighting was almost dark but just enough color and light remaining in the sky.Equipment
I used a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens mounted on a tripod and using a remote trigger. I used Iso 100 aperture f/11 and shutter 1/60sInspiration
I saw some great colors in the sky which looked like a good backdrop for the pier you could say i was in the right place at the right time.Editing
I made some small adjustments to the exposure, highlights and shadows then adjusted some of the color which enhanced the lights on the big wheel and amusements on the pier and in the sky.In my camera bag
I have a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens a 70-300mm telephoto lens with circular polarizing filters, UV filter ND Grad set, ND filter set a remote shutter release and a tripod.Feedback
I had a few practice shots to find the best place to focus and to find the best way to capture the best lighting before taking this image.
