This photo was taken in a village in Iran where people every day are taking care of cows and other animals like that. When the man saw me coming with a few other foreigners-he began to smile but when he saw me taking the camera out of my bag- he straightened and got more serious as if he wanted to show that he is proud of himself and of his country, that he is someone important .. although there was the grey reality behind his back, for the five seconds while i was taking the photo- he wanted to show himself as a genuine Iranian man.
