Since i was about twelve years old, I would spend my days totally lost in the world of Photoshop. I remember creating this piece for hours without end, while now, few years later it is literally less than an hour of work.Time
I created this piece at night after having woken up from a nightmare and not being able to fall asleep.. thus the real "scary" feeling, i suppose;)Lighting
This piece was created while listening to "Down With the Sickness" of Disturbed, I wanted to keep this piece dark and scary but it was not enough, i simply had to add this bright piece of yellowish light, imitating some sort of myst and giving you this "ill" feeling.Equipment
I sadly cannot say much about equipment, as this is not a photo but a manipulation. I used paid stock photos (swing and the woman) combined them together and simply added the "atmosphere" with drawn myst.Inspiration
Do you ever get this feeling of sickness after you wake up after a nightmare? Where you aren't scared but feel like something was creeping all around you? That is what I wanted to show in this piece, being kind of stuck swinging in the myst of half-reality.Editing
Yes, this piece was entirely created in Photoshop CS3 & Photoshop Lightroom. In my camera bag
I never ever separate with the camera I "illegaly" got from my Dad (my mom didn't want to spoil me), Canon 550D. It is my "childhood" camera that I still use.. ten years later:)Feedback
Yes! In fact, never give up and do not be afraid to try to experiment. It is always the things we do not expect that look good!
