I was driving home from work and saw a sign "World Bird Sanctuary" so since I am never without my camera I thought that I would stop and take a few. This is one of many that I took that day. It was shot with a NIKON D7100.Time
This was taken October 20th, 2014 at 11:59am. It was a cloudy day and the birds were all under trees.Lighting
It was a cloudy day so I had to use a slow shutter speed. 70-200mm at 200mm f/6.3 1/40 Hand Held. Love my Nikons.Equipment
Nikon D7100 with a 70-200mm. Shot at 200mm f/6.3 1/40 Hand Held.Inspiration
I shoot everything I get a chance to. I had never take a close up picture of an Eagle and this was my chance.Editing
I ran it through Photoshop CS6 and added a little contrast and a little sharpening. In my camera bag
I gave my D7100 to my brother and purchased a D810 (love it). I normally carry a sb700, 24-120 f/4 (kit) a 35mm f/1.8, 2x teleconverter (seldom used) & a 70-200m f/2.8, along with a tri-pod.Feedback
Shoot everything you can. With todays digital cameras you can always delete it if you don't like it. Also ALWAYS SHOOT IN RAW! You would be surprised on the details you can recover if you were to not have your settings just right.
