Luckily I had Just popped into my garden and spotted this little guy with a face full of pollen. So I rushed back into the house to get my camera to try and get some shots of him.Time
The time this shot had been the nights had been drawing in earlier as winter approached so around 16:09.Lighting
The lighting wasnt great as it was overcast and the weather had been dismal that week. Even with the high 6400 ISO I just about got the shot that I wanted in time.Equipment
This had been Shot with my Cannon 700D with an EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II Lens.Inspiration
I have always enjoyed take shots of the small fly creatures as I like to see if I can get the shot when in flight. This has to be one of my favourite shots of a flying bee as with his face being full of pollen it gives him something different.Editing
Due to the high ISO 6400 and the Camera suffers for bad noise effect I used lightroom to reduce the noise level. I had also reduced the Shadow detail to bring out the detail of bee.In my camera bag
I nornally carry my Cannon 700D with an EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II Lens, I also have 50mm prime lens and Cannon 18-55mm stm lens.Feedback
The best advice about getting a shot like this is that you should always be on the look out the small things in life. Patients is also a key factor when trying to shoot small creatures as they tend to make a quick exit.
