Behind The Lens

Location

Nearby SOmmieres, a small town in the south of Gard, Occitanie, France

Time

It was the end of the day; I was working on a wedding, and it was one of those empty times, where you take pictures and wait for the next big thing at the same time (in this case, it was right before diner).

Lighting

No, it's all natural!

Equipment

Canon 5DmkII and a Canon 24-105mm f:4 L zoom.

Inspiration

THe landscape itself! The wedding took place in the vineyards, and the sunset on the lanscape was definetly part of the event!

Editing

Yes I did, but I do not remember exactly what; this picture is about 8 years old! What I know is that I never use presets; every picture gets its own treatmenet. I probably elighted and sharpened a few zones of the scene, and obviously worked on the sky's tones

In my camera bag

I do many different kinds of pictures, from portraiture to vineyards, hotels to campsites, outdoor activities to high end restaurants! Most of the time I have two Canon EOS 5DS, on 17-40 f:4 zoom, one 24-105 Sigma Art zoom, one 35mm f1.4 Sigma ARt, one Canon 17mm T/S, a 70-200 f:4 LISUSM, a bunch of strobes of various kinds, not to mention tripods and stands.

Feedback

Open your eyes and wait (but get ready for!...) for the right moment!
