Bart's toothy smile is actually a plastic frosty paws ice cream cup. Everytime we would give them these treats, when we came home, this is how Bart would always greet us. Merry Christmas.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in our home. Bart, our dog is carrying a Frosty Paws ice cream treat container in his mouth. When we would leave the house and return, Bart would run around with this in his mouth. The ridges in the container make it look like he has a Big Toothy Grin. Just too cute and funny to pass on.

Time

Late after noon.

Lighting

indoor lichting.

Equipment

Taken with Canon SX 160 IS w/16X Optical Zoom Lens. No Tripod was used, Flash was used.

Inspiration

It was something I wanted to remember and it is unique. Plus Bart(our dog) is very photogenic.

Editing

Few minor photo adjustments in Photo Shop.

In my camera bag

Same as was used for this photo.

Feedback

Don't be afraid to just grab, point and shoot to capture a moment. We do this with people, nature and pets. Of course there are also planned and staged photos, but this and many like it tend to be more interesting and natural. Pets and Kids are often hard to capture unless you are NOT afraid to grab, point and shoot.
