I took this photo at lake Quinault ,Olympic peninsula park in Washington state.Time
I started shooting rhe lake and the sky , an our before sunset.this photo took place around 10 minutes before sunset.Lighting
I was amazed by the area,the lake,the trees, the calm of that place. And around an our before sunset, crazy and wonderful colors apeard all over the sky and the water. I couldn't stop shooting. I strongly recommend ,to get there and exploring the area ,by walking, trekking, and photographing.Equipment
I only used my camera back then (cannon sx-40),without any tripods or other accessories.Inspiration

I never use any software to improve my photos. What you see is what you get. I prefer to return to shoot again ,if I am not satisfied with the photo I took.In my camera bag
Since I like traveling , and most of my photos are spontaneously ,I decided that I need a slr strong and powerful zoom camera, without any accessories. 2 years ago a bought ,the Panasonic lumix dcm fz1000 with a 25-400 zoom. Great camera. So, my bag contains the camera, 2 memory cards of 64 gb each and 2 battery's. That's all.Feedback
Focus on the moments that things are changing rapidly :weather ,colors,movements , sky,clouds,the sun.change positions,angle, try different zooming.,and if you need to stabilize yourself,.,just lean on a tree, a rock,the ground,or whatever you find in the area you are shooting.
