Location
I took this photo in a house that the subject was house watching. In Ontario, CanadaTime
It was middle of the afternoon, in February. Which means the relocation of the snow was very bright so the natural light was tough coming through the window.Lighting
The lighting was strong light from the sun and reflection of the snow, which I diffused a little which you can see in her right eye and also bounced light to give a bit of definition to her left sideEquipment
Cannon 6D, ReflectorInspiration
What Inspired me was to create contrast which I was working on at the time. Photography to me is always learning and learning to get better at this skills.Editing
The processing I used was to make Black and White, I learnt photography in a darkroom, and I think kids today should. I'm only 33. You learn soooooooo much in that dark room that can help rather than a computer that seems like magic. In my camera bag
I usually carry obviously my 6D 24-105, 1.8 50mm prime, 105mm 2.8 prime, 2.8mm 2.8 manual, Yongnuo 560, three Yongnuo wireless transmitters, Cannon 430 EX II, Canon 320EX, and others but thats my main gear.Feedback
I won't get into detail, I think Patience and timing is KEY. Timing between Landscape and lets say Sports are completely different in relative to photography But in most situations, I think anticipation is very very very important, you need to know in action where to be and landscape, again where to be. Next in my opinion is position, which is also framing you need to find the sweet spot. But that goes back to Anticipation and Planning.
