Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Warsaw during walk.

Time

The day we took that photo was just perfect. We gone for a walk at early afternoon and we saw that place. We knew that we must take a photo.

Lighting

That day was very sunny. Sun was giving very good light so we did not need to use any extra.

Equipment

To take that photo we used compact camera only. No other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

We were walking and taking photos that day. We did not look for something special. Somehow we saw that place. With sunlight it was magical. We wanted to take little of that magic with us. During taking photo we felt something what is impossible to describe.

Editing

As every photo that one also required little processing but not much. We only corrected white balance and gave little contrast especially on bag to make it more visible.

In my camera bag

When we are preparing to go out for taking photos the first what we pack is our Canon camera with lens and accessories like polarized filter. Second important "toy" is Samsung advanced compact camera that takes really pretty good photos. Both cameras are very good. Sometimes we are taking the same photo by them both and processing at the end. Results are amazing. We do not give models of our cameras cause even the most simple one will give awesome shot when it`s in right hands.

Feedback

Every photographer must be very patient. Time of day (dusk and dawn are the best time), weather and equipment are very important. Be prepared for many situations. Take more than one photo. Always use manual settings. Open eyes and look carefully. There are many things worth to capture. Study and remember that the best way to improve is to learn on own mistakes. Be patient and don`t give up.
