This photo was took at the historical Monserrate Palace, in the wonderful park of Sintra, PurtugalTime
Was in the morning a rainy dayLighting
I didn't use anything if not combination of the lamps of the Palace with natural scattered light next to me and deep in the long corridorEquipment
I used by battle-camera, a Nikon 3100 with his 18-55mm entry lens. F-stop: f/3.5 Exposure time: 1/40s ISO-1000Inspiration
Entered in the Palace I was inspired by the prospective of the corridors. I wanted to play with his exotic oriental columns adding the overlapping of two elements like the firm statue in the fountain featured and the tourist walking in the distanceEditing
Normally, I don't like doing post-processing. I prefer the natural, even if with some defect. In this case I just wanted this kind of exposure with the combination of these lights to make this compositionIn my camera bag
I'm an amateur photographer and can only experiment with my entry level camera. I love travel and create composition with my fantasy. I would love to buy a more professional camera and lens in the near future to take even more amazing photosFeedback
Other great examples in Europe of Palaces with arab characteristics can be find in Andalusia, Spain. Cities like Malaga, Granada, Cordoba have an historical Palace called "Alcazaba". Monserrate Palace in Sintra is however unique in his genre
