Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. I am a self taught photographer who has had a camera in her hand since the age of 9.

Time

I captured this photo in mid morning while walking around the gardens.

Lighting

This image was taken in the shade of a building.

Equipment

I shot this image with my Nikon d3300, I used the 18-55mm of 3.5-5.6 lense.

Inspiration

I was walking around the garden and saw this beautiful water lily and fell in love with the way the flower was casting its reflection in the water.

Editing

The post processing was very minimal, I corrected the exposure a bit to create a darker image.

In my camera bag

I always pack my Nikon d200 body along with my 18-70mm lense , as well as the 55-300 mm lense. I also carry my Nikon d3300 body in my camera bag. I also pack my external flash and a remote shutter release.
