This image was captured on one of the many beautiful backroads of the gorgeous state of Georgia. I find sadly that in recent years the beauty of these little secretive backroads are quickly disappearing to big developments, ie sub-divisions, strip malls, apartment buildings, commercial developments and more. Natural scenes such as this, created by nature over many years, with the use of big machinery are here one day and gone the next... Hopefully we will protect what protects us, providing a habitat for all without destroying these wondrous systems in the name of progress.Time
I was on my way from the market one lovely afternoon when I took a side road, unfamiliar to me and low and behold, I came upon this lovely road! I stopped the car to look, listen and inhale! The fragrance emanating was beyond anything I’d ever experienced! I was totally enveloped and at that moment I grabbed my camera in an attempt to keep this image forever! Whenever I view this image I am taken back to that moment in time and it makes me smile! Makes my day!Lighting

The inspiration to capture this image was the overwhelming natural beauty! Having grown up in the city this environment is new to me and remains so to this day! I have a reverent respect for nature!Editing
