This ocean bath sits on the edge of a rock shelf on the coast just south of Sydney. Depending on the tide, this scene can take on many different appearances and on this particular morning it was on the high side, but not the highest. There was one large wave that would roll in every few minutes, much larger than the rest and it was this that completely engulfed the pool and the foreground on which I was standing.
