Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken in my Wisconsin Studio. Just a little something to kick off the Fall color theme

Time

We started our session around 5pm and finished up around 6pm

Lighting

The lighting on this image is just a two light Studio set up

Equipment

Canon camera, 18-55mm lens, tripod, on camera flash

Inspiration

The inspiration for this photo came from the client, who was looking for a creative release. Just a little fun to show case autumn beauty

Editing

Post processing included a tighter crop, a slight exposure tweek, and some smoothing of the skin near the eyes.

In my camera bag

In addition to my Canon body, I always carry a second body in my bag- also Canon. I small Canon underwater camera, a macro lens, a wide angle lens, 18-55, and 55-250. Extra batteries, a few extra cards, small travel size cleaning kit, business cards, safety pins and gum!

Feedback

This shot was trial and error for me. I always have a great model for testing lights, or new equipment. Take extra shots, move your subject to different angles to capture the light and look you seek. Most of all, have fun!
