A cool 04:30 am start to a hot spring day at Death Valley National Park. The forecast projected a high of 109 degrees F in late April. Shadows and contrasts were in order to optimize a cloudless sunrise. This was my second trip to this sandy playground and it seems the variety of subject matter is endless.
