This photo was taken at Yakoun Lake Trail on Haida Gwaii.Time
We headed out early Sunday morning arriving at Yakoun Trail head about 2:00 pm.Stepping onto the trail was like entering into another world.The trail was lined with huge Spruce and Hemlock trees.Everything was carpeted with a layer of soft green moss bringing a quietness to the forest one could hear only the soft whispers of tiny birds that inhabited this forest..I had to try to capture this scene exactly as I seen it as it was completely magical.I sat right on the forest floor no tripod took in the beauty that was before me set up my camera for the lighting Which was perfect, brought everything into the frame and pressed the shutter button.Lighting

I used a Sony SLT-A57 No tripod no flash as it wasn't needed.Inspiration
The beauty of the forest inspired me I just had to try and bring the viewer of the photo exactly what I seen like they were right there with me.Editing
No post processing.This is only one image just as I seen it.In my camera bag
I was new to photography back when I took this photo so I only had a camera on a strap around my neck.Feedback
The only advice I have would be to capture the scene so when the viewer looks at your photo it was like they were right there with you when you took the photo.Have fun and just enjoy yourself don't get to hung up on all the technical stuff I am still am amateur and love it.
