Location
Somewhere near La Malva-Rosa beach in Valencia, SpainTime
I took it in the early afternoon. We didn't plan to be there at that time but it turned out to be the perfect timing - right after the light rain and with almost no people on the beach.Lighting
It was right after the rain has stopped. According to me this is one of the best times to take a photo on the beach - it is either cloudy and kind of grey or it will be sunny with a rainbow. In my case it was actually cloudy and grey but there was a rainbow at some point as well. And because of the rain there were almost no people.Equipment
For this one I was still relying only on my smartphone. In this case it was Samsung Galaxy.Inspiration
There are many things that were so beautiful on that day. It was right after the rain has stopped so there was almost no one around (except few surfers). The sky was amazing cloudy with a rainbow at some point. The sea was great as well. You couldn't really tell where the beach ends and the sea starts, the sea was kind of only wetting the beach which created a mirror like surface. It was grey, kind of deserted and awesome.Editing
No. I am still an amateur and when I take a photo that I really love I prefer to leave it the way it is rather than to ruin it applying post processing methods that I don't yet understand. The only effect could be if I used the rich tone mode on the phone (I use it sometimes to make the colors more vivid). In my camera bag
I normally have my smartphone only, but I recently got a new Canon Powershot sx510, which I take when I go on vacations.Feedback
I am not a pro and I don't quite feel confident to give advice. The only thing I could say is when you see a great scene just take your camera and start shooting. It is not necessary to know all the photo tips in the world to take a great shot (although knowing the tips is a good thing if photographing is something you are passionate about).
