Behind The Lens

Location

Yosemite National Park, California

Time

7:00 PM

Lighting

All natural from afternoon sun

Equipment

Canon EOS 5D Mark III, 16-35mm F2.8, B+W 3-stop ND filter

Inspiration

The natural beauty of Yosemite.

Editing

Yes. conversion from RAW to JPEG via LightRoom. Further processed with Topaz Details to get those small details of the trees and rocks

In my camera bag

This was a vacation/photography tour. Canon EOS 5D Mark III, 16-35mm F2.8, 70-200mm F2.8, 100m F2.8 Macro and 15mm F2.8 fish eye lens. B+W 3-stop ND filter and Manfrotto tripod.

Feedback

To get the smooth silk-like movement of water, tripod is must and set at long exposure. Use ND filters to reduces the light entering the camera then you can set at slow shutter speeds.
