Very kind Dwayne, the place is beautiful inn itself, visit Galway in Ireland, it's not dubbed the graveyard of ambitions for sad reasons, quite the opposite ;)

Love love this shot! Beautiful lighting and a nice visual pose of the lady looking off into the horizon is awesome. To visit Ireland is definitely on my Bucket list!:) Mysterious, beautiful, a strong culture, seams peaceful but I know you've had such turbulent history. Regardless, Movies definitely have made Ireland look soooo beautiful. Thanks for sharing your pics:)

Location
Like many other photographers, I was learning the art by asking friends to be m. This picture was shot with a friend and co-worker at the time, Christine, in Galway, Ireland. The place is dubbed the grave of all ambitions, I guess only people who lived there would understand the meaning of it, and I can tell you it's not for sad reasons.Time
It was shot a few years ago, and if memory serves well between seven and eight in the evening.Lighting
All natural, the light there is quite fantastic. A bay, usually covered with clouds and light reflecting on the ocean.Equipment

I did, mostly playing and fooling around, lightroom mostly. All in all it was only to emphasize the warmth of it.In my camera bag
Now I am mostly using a Nikon, 610d, and just a few lenses, all primes. 50, 12, and 300mm though I use lots of filters. Something I understood with film. The best I can squeeze from a shot never comes from post but careful planning.Feedback
Get your model to talk to you as friends, wait for the correct natural light. And don't focus on gear.
