Attending the pub to catch Toronto Blues Man Danny "B" playing with guitarist Brian Gauci. This is Brian during the set, while usually laid back while playing, he took on a very intense look during one song, which I attempted to capture with this photo. One of the few shots I took of Brian without the guitar in the frame. I found the intensity of the gaze was enough to relay the music and his passion for it.Editing
The post-processing was using the ACDsee Pro 3 program. I did very little, except to go from colour to black and white and some small exposure adjustments. It really made the intensity jump out at the viewer.In my camera bag
My usual equipment is a Nikon D3000, Nikon 18-55 lens and a Nikon 55-200 lens. While I don't have a flash unit, it is the next piece of kit I am planning for.Feedback
On the technical side I can't say much, as I primarily had the camera set up to take photos under the conditions of the day. The image was more about being ready for the shot, during the show I usually kept the camera close at hand if not in hand. Always be ready, and don't worry about taking lots of shots.
