I took the mushroom at the bottom of a small "canyon" in the Carnic alps in Italy. River flowing in the canyon comes from a dam which create upstream a big and nice artificial lakeTime
Despite the poor light it was about midday;light was low , being at teh bottom of a deep and narrow canyon.Lighting
I kept DoF narrow and under exposed to obscure the backgroundEquipment
Camera Nikon D7100 and 17 55/f2.8 at 55mm and 1/15. Of course a tripod due to long exposureInspiration
I like so much mushroom, being a coloured part of such a great natural environmentEditing
just adjust WB, tone curve a bit and noise reductionIn my camera bag
D7100, 17-55/2.8 70-210/5.6 , tripod and a lampFeedback
keep as much open as you can the aperture to reduce DoF ( 2 stop over the minimum) and use a tripod to avoid blurring the snap. Walk a lot in wood and mountain :)
