Colorado Mile Markers, Color

The three elevation markers at the 'Mile High' Colorado State Capitol building. The first, at the engraved 'One Mile Above Sea Level' stair, was placed there as a plaque, but stolen a few times before this engraving was done. A later measurement corrected the elevation to the step three above; a subsequent measure placed the new marker at its current location, in the foreground of this photo.
