I decided to use a telephoto lens for this image rather than go closer with a wide angle as I had a specific composition in mind. The fading light with the ominous grey clouds enveloping it along with the black sand beach made for a foreboding and moody photographic opportunity.

Thanks for the comment/feedback. The glow here with the enveloping darkness made this scene feel like the last remnants of a calm day was about to give way to an impending tempest. This is in fact what did happen!
