Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in OMR Road, Chennai, India. This was one of the pictures taken by me while I was in initial phases of self learning photography by following tutorials and dedicated photography sites like viewbug. This is one of those lessons I taught myself.Time
This was around 7 or 8 in the night. I just had dinner and was simply amazed by the amount and array of lights produced by the moving vehicles. So I got up an over head bridge and captured this with the help of my friend as I had no tripod as such at the time. I had to squeeze myself it between the hands to capture this while people around us were giving some real weird looks. ????Lighting
This was a total lighting miracle. There were neither additive lighting accessories used nor anything done in the post processing. Just with a little of tweak of Manual settings I was able to capture this. I was lucky that there was a street light right beside the camera lighting the scene and as well as not ruining the shot by coming in the way with too much light.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D5300 with the 50mm Prime lens. Nothing else was used.Inspiration
I was amazed by the traffic hustle and bustle. Just wanted to capture my love for the city in the way it is.Editing
Literally nothing was done in the post processing. In my camera bag
I usually carry my DSLR and a prime lens. If I'm on a planned trip, then I carry the tripod, extra batteries, rain cover and filters.Feedback
Just go with flow. Carry the camera always; we never know what we might see and want to capture. India ?
