An abandoned barn on some proprty for sale near Marseilles, IL. As I did not travel that route often, I thought I would photograph this before it is gone forever. The unusual windows and siding made it an ideal candidate for shooting in black and white.

I dream of sheep

A beautiful growing along a fence. I had to use a telephoto lens to make the capture, then cropped the photo to what you see.

One of many ways to get around San Diego. This system has been in operation for several decades now.

First day I met her so she was still a little apprehensive.

I first saw this in 2014 when looking for old buildings to photograph. It was surrounded by corn at the time, so I decided to revisit it in the spring

This old barn is just outside city limits. The setting sun's rays, filtered through nearby trees, were highlighted by me

This old house sits on a back street in the small town of Onarga, IL. Shot in color, it was converted to black and white to better convey the emptines
