Location
Stourhead Gardens Wiltshire EnglandTime
This was taken around 3pm on a cold Autumn day in November. I only planned a couple of hours there to photograph the mist over the lake but ended staying for 7 hours.Lighting
At first the light wasn't very good because of cloud cover. As I was to call it a day the clouds started to break so I waited and was awarded with blue skies which brought the lake and trees to lifeEquipment
My trusty canon 550d fitted with my 18-55mm lens which was fitted with a polarizer filter to help lift the coloursInspiration
The Autumn colours reflecting in the lake. The colours were amazingEditing
yes I used an Orton effect to give a dream like imageIn my camera bag
Apart from my camera I have my 18-55mm lens and a 28-300mm sigma with a few grads just in case, Oh and a few packets of crisp just in case I get hungry (which I often do)Feedback
Plan visit a location a few times and do a few searches on the net. And look for something different but most importantly is to enjoy what you do
