Location
This photo was taken in front of my home, on the sidewalk.Time
it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon, I laid on the side walk for an hour with my camera, i wanted it to trust me, so I just waited for it to come as close, after I took this photo , I stayed because it felt walking towards me, it walked on my camera and then on my arm.Lighting
The sun was at about a 60* angle to my left it was a very bright August day.Equipment
I had my canon, I had it on the Macro setting , it was sitting on the side walk in front of me. I did not use any other equipment.Inspiration
The Praying mantis were abundant , and I just want to get a photo of one.Editing
There is no editing .In my camera bag
I have my Canon T5 camera , 5 lenses, a external flash, extra batteries , and 6 filters, shutter release cord.Feedback
To get a photo of insects or animals , one needs patience and to be still , let them gain your trust that you will do no harm to them. Have your camera set in the setting you want your camera , before you get into the position for taking the photo, moving and fidgeting will scare them off. and most of all enjoy yourself.
